Cookbook Review- - AIP Holiday: They Won't Know It's Paleo

Happy Thanksgiving AIP World!

Thanksgiving is 3 weeks from today and Christmas is 7 weeks from tomorrow. Do you know what you're cooking yet? Has the anxiety of planning AIP holiday meals scared you to the point where you're considering eating a baked sweet potato alone in a dark corner? Well, have no fear.... Bre'anna Emmitt has done it again, and today she's releasing a new cookbook called "AIP Holiday: They Won't Know It's Paleo".
I don't know about you, but before going paleo and AIP, with family roots in the southern US, Thanksgiving was always an homage to the casserole...cornbread dressing (made with leftover cornbread and biscuits from that morning), squash casserole, vidalia onion casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole.... and there was a turkey and some gravy in their somewhere.

I've managed to "aipize" (is that a new word?) some of my family favorites, but I honestly thought that I would never eat dressing or squash casserole again....until I got my hands on this ebook. For only $4.99, all of your AIP holiday stress will be gone and you can enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner with your friends and family again...and allow them to see all of the wonderful food that you get to enjoy while following the AIP diet.

In case the news of dressing and squash casserole aren't enough to whet your appetite, here are some of the other recipes you'll find in this book:
  • Turkey & Gravy
  • Prime Rib
  • Mashed Fauxtatoes
  • Carrot Casserole
  • Sweet Potato Souffle
  • Spiced Bread Pudding
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • And MORE!!

If you don't have her first cookbook (you really should). Click here to view more details about her original book "He Won't Know It's Paleo," which is comfort food on a plate. One of the best descriptions I ever heard of Bre'anna's cooking is that she is the Paula Deen of the AIP world. And, as Paula Deen is a distant cousin of mine, I can attest to that truth. She takes family favorites and gets rid of the grains and dairy and nightshades without getting rid of the flavor. Having her book is almost like having your grandma cook dinner for you.
